Job Description:

Ranked as the largest privately owned entity in Jamaica within our industry, we are looking to recruit and expand our Sales team. As such, we’re currently looking for self-motivated, passionate, energetic, driven and highly articulate sales representatives to join us.  These individuals will be responsible for meeting aggressive monthly sales targets and receive attractive and competitive commissions.
S/He will collaborate with the Marketing Department to create and implement strategies to fill both existing and future client needs and assist in enhancing our existing corporate brand.  The ideal candidate will be intelligent, engaging, motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and personable with a desire to learn and grow professionally. 
The Sales Representative will be responsible for:
  • Achieving monthly sales targets through execution of a combination of traditional and non-traditional strategies guided by the Sales Manager and supported by Marketing Department.
  • Employ persuasive strategies to close sales by utilizing up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Maintaining professional decorum across execution of all duties and tasks assigned.
  • Creating, maintaining and tracking all new clients and provide status updates weekly updates to Sales Manager.
  • Responding to client inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining current client and potential client relationships.
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail and high level of communication across execution of all duties and tasks assigned.
  • Participating on special projects as needed to support overall objectives of Sales Department.

Job Requirements:

Skills and competencies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing; strong selling and negotiation skills; strong technology aptitude: excel and PowerPoint; ability to interface with various managers; strong customer service focus; sense of urgency; Positive attitude, upbeat personality and willingness to learn new things is a must. The prospective candidate must be able to work in a very fast paced, dynamic and performance/target driven environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years experience in sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Excellent command of the spoken and written English
  • Excellent internet research skills
  • Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to learn new software and programs
  • Basic Proficiency with social media sites such as LinkedIn, Instagram, FaceBook and Twitter
